QUESTIONS

May I order after the deadline?

Yes. Orders may be placed after the deadline. Ordering by the deadline date gives your order priority in our processing schedule and a discount.

Can I make copies of my prints or the images online?

Candid Campus Photography, Inc. owns the copyrights to all images taken by our photographers. Purchase of a digital download or packages with digital downloads will include the rights to reproduce the photo. 

What is your return policy?

Our goal is 100% satisfaction. If you are unhappy with your printed pictures, please contact our Customer Service Team by phone 504-366-0607 or email customerservice@candidcampusphoto.com and we will be happy to assist you. Please note that digital images are not refundable.

How can I confirm you've received my order?

If you placed your order online, you will automatically be sent a confirmation email receipt within 24 hours of submitting your order. It will be sent to the email address listed during the ordering process. 

What is the difference between the Premium and Traditional Matte finishes?

  • Premium luminous finish – a shiny appearance that enhances clarity and richness while adding a protectant coating to preserve the photograph. 

  • Traditional Matte Finish A velvety soft surface creating a smooth and flat appearance without any shine or glare.  

I took photos, now when will I receive my proofs?

Within a week of the event, proofs will be e-mailed to you. If you have not received your email, you can also search your event and name on our website. If you need assistance call 504-366-0607. or email customerservice@candidcampusphoto.com.

When will I receive my order?

Prints and products ordered online are mailed within 5-7 business days. Instant digital download purchases will be delivered to the email inbox on record for the order within minutes. Digital images with retouching will be delivered to the email inbox on record within 3 business days. 

Can packages be split between different poses?

Our packages are designed to be split between poses. Sets of wallets need to be one pose.

I only received part of my order, where is the other portion?

Some orders contain products that are shipped separately. For a tracking number please call 504-366-0607. 

Can my images be retouched?

Yes. Standard retouching options are available for purchase through our website. The price for retouching is for each retouched image. If you would like more extensive or specific edits to your photos, please call the Customer Service Team at 504-366-0607. 

Retouching options available on our website:

Basic Retouching: Lightly softens the skin, all lines, bags under eyes, removes minor blemishes, and wrinkles from the face and neck only. Slightly brightens eyes and teeth. 

Basic Retouching with Stray Hair Removal: Lightly softens the skin, all lines, bags under eyes, removes minor blemishes, and wrinkles from the face and neck only. Slightly brightens eyes and teeth. Removes stray hair. 

Glass Glare: Removes small glass glare that does not involve manipulation of the eye or lashes. 

Extensive Retouching: Lightly softens the skin, all lines, bags under eyes, removes minor or severe blemishes, shine, red eye, nose debris, and wrinkles from the face and neck only. Slightly brightens eyes and teeth. 

I accidentally took my portraits wearing the wrong hood color or tassel color. Can this be edited or do I need to re-take my photos?

Please call the Customer Support Team 504-366-0607 for help with this issue. Most color changes we can handle for a fee without the need for re-takes. 

I finished signing up for portraits. What now?

Mark your calendar for your portrait day! Please save your confirmation page and your event emails for future reference. 

If you are attending a Grad Fair, women please wear a wide or V-neck blouse. Men, please wear a button up shirt with a tie. Please no collared polo shirts; or shirts with an open collar. 

What is a proof?

Portrait proofs are previews of the images we take of you, which are available for purchase on our website. 

What does Candid Campus do with my information?

We respect and remain committed to individuals’ rights to privacy, including FERPA- sanctioned directory data. We use your provided data for connecting those with whom we photograph with their proofs and other awareness or logistical information. Contact information is not resold or used for any other purposes. 

I signed up for the Grad Fair. Do I need to still register for graduation/commencement?

Yes. You will need to submit information to match your contact information to the graduation photos taken of you.
